Thursday's Thoughts: Theme: Long Distance Relationships

This Week's Theme: Long Distance Relationships
“We are the perfect couple, we’re just not in the perfect situation.” - Joey Rivett

“Distance never separates two hearts that really care, for our memories span the miles and in seconds we are there. But whenever I start feeling sad, because I miss you, I remind myself of how lucky I am to have someone so special to miss.” - Unknown

“True love doesn't mean being inseparable; it means being separated and nothing changes.” - Unknown

@ kissafrog69: I found it appropriate for this week. :)

You should pick up the book A Lover's Discourse: Fragments by Roland Barthes. It's a writing in the perspective of one lover absent another. That is, it's written in fragments where 'I' never sees the amorous subject 'You'.

I'm in the midst of reading it now, in fact, and I find it wonderful (granted, I haven't been able to delve in terribly deep, because of the constant distraction today, but I will tomorrow).

@ Shad B.: I'll definitely check that out, it sounds very interesting. This part really caught my attention, "That is, it's written in fragments where 'I' never sees the amorous subject 'You'." :) Thank you!
