how do you deal when you write a bunch of posts, but no one comments.and you don't have much followers?thats obviously not your situation, but its really hard for me to keep blogging when it feels like no one cares to read them.
@ harmoy.: Haha, that is my situation for the most part. :) I'm not even entirely sure if too many people read what I have to say. What keeps me going however, is me. I don't write for an audience, everything I say is for me, my pleasure, my purpose, my growth. When you write and create for yourself, nothing else matters--it's just additives. :)
This reminded me of Philipp Mainländer. He wrote a treatise of philosophy titled Die Philosophie der Erlösung (The Philosophy of Redemption). It hasn't been translated into English, unfortunately, so I haven't read it but the premise is enjoyable.
He's particularly famous for developing 'The Will to Die' concept and applying it even to god. Saying that, "Life is hell, and the sweet still night of absolute death is the annihilation of hell" and also that rather than resist our end, we will come to conclude that "that knowledge that life is worthless is the flower of all human wisdom."
It's interesting regardless of your philosophical disposition.
@ Shad B.: I'll look into it, thank you again, as always. :)
