You have always been a smart person in many ways. Using education is a great choice of tools to push your way past the things that happened in your childhood. You are a thinker and problem solver, not to mention a survivor. The past is what it is and none of us can go back, but it makes us who we are, and you have made great choices to help yourself and others push forward and I as well as other applaud you for this. You are going to make great things happen because you are a special person with so much to offer to others. You are already helping so many, as well as myself. You have really helped me to try to understand who I am, and I thank you!
@ Claudia: Just for the record, this quote isn't from my mouth. It is from the mouth of a victim of sexual abuse by his own mother, all throughout childhood. He was featured on Oprah a few nights ago.
Thank you so much for this comment, it is a great boost. I'm glad I've been able to help you, and I find great comfort in others imagining I've helped others too.
